In order to use The Witcher 3 REDkit, you also have to have one of the available PC versions of the game, regardless of storefront, installed on your PC. So, for example, if you claimed The Witcher 3 REDkit from Steam and have a GOG or Epic Games Store version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt installed, they will work together perfectly fine, and the same will be true for any other combination.
